Pope's Most Famous Fountain

16 x 24
16 x 24

What is at least desirable when working with marble, is that the length of work is set in stone. The legend of the Trevi Fountain holds that ancient Romans would throw a coin into the fountain to please the gods of water to favor their journey on a long or short path they take in waters. This fountain sits at the intersection of aqueducts that were constructed specifically to move water around cities.
