Men Who Fly High

This is a military photo from the Iranian Air Force from the first half of 1980's, taken during the Iran-Iraq War. A war that took away many beautiful lives for nothing but unnecessary politics. There's a saying from the old days of Imperial Iranian Air Force that the high sky above us is indeed my place to be. These men mostly trained under the old regime with premium equipment that were acquired with the highest respect for a well-deserving nation. For example, the F-14 Tomcat behind this crew is one of the planes purchased by the old regime making Iran the only other country the United States trusted enough to sell this advanced warfare equipment to. With decades gone by and rightfully imposed isolations to harden the path of a rightfully earned military power. This nation will re-start and return to its old established diplomatic relationships in a future that will arrive.
